Think about it. We celebrate a new year with excitement and optimism. We willingly let go of the past and say a ceremonial bah-bye to our old way of living. We allow ourselves to think and dream of new possibilities. We become self motivated, resolved, and committed to our goals. We take action. We change our language. We eat better.

And at the end of that first day of the new year, we reflect on the changes we’ve made and it feels oh so good. Then the “newness” wears off and our old mindset returns (it knows the routine by now). It just makes me wonder…how different would our lives be it we had the mindset to treat each new day like the beginning of a new year?
